The young men who participate in the Financial Services Program can expect to become immersed into city life. In addition to experiencing the cultures of different companies that their employers serve, the Scholars are treated to special trips to some of New York’s most important institutions. For example, the Scholars attend a briefing at the New York Stock Exchange and receive special permission to visit the floor of the Exchange. They also tour the United Nations. And they enjoy numerous social engagements, such as dinner at some of city’s fine restaurants, Broadway shows, a New York Yankees game, and a boat cruise around lower Manhattan. |
