Phase One:

Establishment of the Institute in 2003 as a program to serve twelve rising juniors and twelve rising seniors for a total of twenty-four young men in Washington, DC for the summer.

 

Phase Two:

In 2007, we doubled our incoming class of juniors to twenty-four.  This phase was completed in 2008 when these scholars returned and were joined by the incoming class of twenty-four.

 

Phase Two (B):

Inaugurated the KPMG Summer Scholars Program in New York with six students. 

 

Phase Three:

Establishment of the Youth Scholars Program in 2009 to serve young men entering the 11th and 12th grades. College students who will coordinate the program will begin in 2009. The high school students will begin in 2010.
