Hometown: Virginia Beach VA

Robert Bland, a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, is majoring in History with a concentration in International Studies at Williams College.  There, he is a writing tutor and serves as a Residential Advisor to freshman. During the summer of 2005, Robert worked in Nairobi, Kenya with Save Africa's Children to help open an educational facility for children orphaned by AIDS.  Robert plans to pursue a terminal degree upon graduating and become a professor.
