Robert Bland, a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, majored in History with a concentration in International Studies at Williams College. While there, he was a writing tutor and served as a Residential Advisor to freshman. During the summer of 2005, Robert worked in Nairobi, Kenya with Save Africa's Children to help open an educational facility for children orphaned by AIDS.
After completing two years as a Mississippi Teaching fellow, Rob is enrolled in a PhD program in History at the University of Maryland. |
