Hometown: Ashland, MA Michael R. Britt is pursuing his degree in Mathematics at Amherst College, where he has been selected to serve on two high-level committees and elected class chair of the Student Senate. He is a co-founder of Homeless Connect, a student organization addressing local issues of poverty and hunger, and is coordinator of the Men’s Christian Fellowship. During the summer of 2007, he volunteered for the Boston Upward Bound Program, a pre-college preparatory program for disadvantaged high school students. He hopes to become a state legislator. |
