Joseph Gomba graduated from Cameron University in 2005 with a degree in Political Science. He served as a senator in the Student Government Association and represented Cameron on the Youth Leadership Advancement Team, a project of the National League of Cities. Joseph was active in College Republicans and has worked on six political campaigns in Oklahoma. He currently serves as an English teacher to elementary school students in South Korea.

In 2003, he interned at the Senate Rules Committee. In 2004, Joe interned in the office of Senator Don Nickles of Oklahoma.
