Darius Graham earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida A&M University. At FAMU, Darius founded the Honor Student Association and served as its first president in addition to his heavy involvement in student government. He was captain of the FAMU Mock Trial Team; former host of "In the Know," a news and public affairs radio show; and president of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. Currently, Darius serves as executive director of Books All Around , a non-profit organization he founded.
For his academic achievements and community involvement, Darius was one of the finalists of the 2005 Florida College Student of the Year Award. In 2006, Darius was selected to USA Today’s College Academic All-Stars First Team for all of his achievements while a student at FAMU.
Darius graduated from the UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 2009, where he was editor-in-chief of the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy. He is currently an associate at the law firm Akin Gump in Washington, DC.
As an Institute scholar, Darius spent his first summer interning at the US Department of State. In his final summer, he interned for the US Department of Labor.
