Hometown: Centennial, CO

Gaël Hagan is seeking his bachelor’s degree in the College of Social Studies at Wesleyan University.  A recipient of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Academic Scholarship for his academic achievements, Gaël was also named Student of the Year by the Colorado Association of Black Engineers and Scientists in 2005 for his distinguished leadership skills.   In 2006, Gaël was elected to Wesleyan’s Student Judicial Board and currently serves as one of its board members.

Away from academia, Gaël competes as a rower for the Wesleyan Varsity Crew.  His team recently placed second at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston.

During the summer of 2006, Gaël interned at Holland and Hart LLP, where his proficiency in French aided the firm in securing pro-bono clients.  In 2007, the aspiring trial attorney interned at Hogan & Hartson LLP
