| Julian M. Hill | |
Hometown: Kankakee, IL Julian Hill majored in Philosophy at Northwestern University, where he was recognized as the 2007 Lincoln Laureate. His campus activities included being counselor for a service-learning orientation program, Freshman Urban Program (FUP), as well as co-chairing the Minority Male Leadership Conference, a student-led seminar on community development. He served as president of the Black Student Alliance and student director on the Northwestern Alumni Association's Board of Directors. Julian repeatedly made the Dean's List and was a Sidley Prelaw Scholar and a finalist for the Truman Fellowship. Since graduating from Northwestern, Julian has deferred admission to Harvard Law School to teach in Compton, CA through Teach for America. Julian interned for the United States Department of Labor during his first summer at the Institute. He interned at the Georgetown Law Center during the summer of 2007. |
