Hometown: Edgewater, MD

Brian Horton studies Geography and Political Science at Texas Tech University, where he is a member of the Honors College.  Brian’s enjoyment for debate is evident in his involvement with his campus’ speech and debate team, where he serves as the team historian.  He has also volunteered as a peer coach to his former high school’s  speech and debate team and enjoys judging high school speech tournaments as well.  In 2006, he was runner-up for the Texas Forensics Association State Championship in original oratory and is a Texas Intercollegiate State Champion in communication analysis.  After completing his studies, Brian would like to practice international law.
