Hometown: Arlington, TX

Kendall Lyons graduated from Oklahoma Christian University, where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and managed the university’s radio station.  Beyond his academic and career pursuits, Kendall is a mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America. He currently works for KFOR-TV, NBC 4 as a weekend overnight assignment editor and writer.  He wants to attain a Masters of Meteorology and become a news broadcaster.  In his free time, Kendall is writing a book on youth ministry and helping low income parents gather resources to educate their children.

During his first summer in Washington, Kendall interned at Radio America.  He returned there the very next summer in 2005.
