Jarvis McInnis is an English major at Tougaloo College.  Jarvis is an inductee to both the Sigma Tao Delta and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies, and serves as president for the latter.  He has also served as freshman class president at Tougaloo.  In 2006, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America honored Jarvis as the Youth of the Year, a recognition that enabled him to represent the organization, which serves more than 4 million children.  Jarvis aspires to be a college professor, and later a U.S. Senator.
