Hometown: Cedar Park, TX

James Nortey is studying Philosophy and Criminal Justice at Baylor University’s Honors College, where he has earned distinction for being on the Dean's List every semester.  He works as a senior community leader (residential advisor) and is a Sunday school leader.   He is the Chief Justice of the Student Court, an assistant head delegate of the Model United Nations, and has earned an Everyday Hero award at Baylor.  Though James' parents are from Ghana, he was born in Dallas, Texas and is a lifetime resident of the state.  James plans to attend law school in 2008 and pursue a career as an attorney.  He one day hopes to become a Supreme Court Justice.

During his first summer at the Institute, James interned at Friedman Billings Ramsey Group.  He then interned at the FBI Office of Law Enforcement Coordination the following summer.
