Hometown: Lexington, KY

Jonathan Olinger majored in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech with the intention of going to law school, practicing in intellectual property litigation, and becoming a Supreme Court justice.  He was an active participant in the President's Scholarship Program, the Georgia Tech Ambassadors, and the Undergraduate Judiciary Cabinet.  He is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.  Additionally, through his work as chair of the Honor Advisory Council, he was involved in efforts to revise the university's Honor Code and spoke with student and faculty groups about the Honor Code and academic integrity.

Since graduating from Stanford Law School (2008), Jonathan served as a legal clerk for the US District Court judge for the Northern District of Georgia, from 2008-2010. He is now an associate at Sutherland Asbill and Brennan, LLP in Atlanta.

During his first summer, Jonathan interned at the Washington Legal Foundation. During his second summer, he conducted research at the Howard University School of Law.
