Hometown: Lawton, OK

Camilo Parris, Jr. was listed on the National Dean’s List and the President’s Honor Roll for his academic achievements at Cameron University.  He also received his university’s top award for outstanding writing.  Camilo majored in Criminal Justice with the hope of pursuing a career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation or Department of Homeland Security.  During his senior year, Camilo served as an associate justice for Cameron’s student body government.

During his first summer at the Institute, Camilo interned for former U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese at the Heritage Foundation. In 2004, Camilo interned at the American Bar Association.

Camilo currently works for the Institute.
