Hometown: Evansville, IN

Brandon Piper majored in Communications in the honors media program at DePauw University.  Brandon was the recipient of the Presidential Rector Scholarship, which is awarded to the top students in each entering class.  Fluent in Italian, Brandon served as a language tutor.  He also provided mentorship to first year students through the depauw.year1 program.  An overall talent, in 2007, he placed second at the National Association of Teachers Singing state competition in his home state of Indiana.

Brandon was one of only six students selected for a Master of Fine Arts program at Michigan University in 2009, where he is also working as a teaching assistant for undergraduate drama courses. He is also acting in Palmer Park.

Brandon interned for NBC News during the summer of 2007. In 2008, he intered at the Kennedy Center, in the Advertising Department.
