Chuck Redmond was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society at the University of South Carolina, where he majored in International Business and Finance.  At South Carolina, he received the Golden Key Honor Society Scholastic Achievement Award, the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs Award for Academic Excellence, and the INROADS Distinguished Scholar Award.  He was also chairman of the Business Incubator Student Advisory Board, which supports student business plans deemed worthy of university support.  In 2006, Chuck co-founded an organization in USC's Honors College devoted to the recruitment and retention of talented minority students.  In the same year, he was selected as USC’s homecoming king by his fellow peers and earned District Brother of the Year honors for his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha. He is currently completing his final year at Harvard Law School.

Interested in both law and business, Chuck interned at the Washington Legal Foundation during his first summer and at Merrill Lynch during his final summer as an Institute scholar. In 2008, Chuck returned to the Institute, where he served as a summer fellow.
