Hometown: Chesapeake Beach, MD

Richard Scott majored in Political Science at Frostburg State University, where he served as president of the Iota Theta Fraternity. He was an active senator in FSU's Student Government Association and served as Vice President of Community Affairs for College Democrats. A Theatre minor, he was also an active participant in FSU's Theatre where he performed on numerous occasions. Along the route to public office, Richard hopes to become an actor. He recently received his Master of Fine Arts from Harvard University.

During his first summer at the Institute, Richard interned for the Energy Action Coalition.
