Hometown: Rochester, NY

Ashley Simms has a double major in Political Science and Vocal Performance and a minor in Psychology at the University at Albany. When he is not maintaining his placement in the top 1-2 percent of his class, he is an active member of the Pre-law Association, Cornerstone Campus Ministry, University Symphony Orchestra, University Chamber Singers, Tennis Club, and the Crew Team.  The Rochester, NY native also volunteers with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity and the Regional Food bank. Ashley’s goal is to attend law school and become a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State. During the summer of 2005, Ashley interned in the Peace Corp's Inter-American Region Office.
