Hometown: Brooklyn, NY

David Telfort grew up in Brooklyn, New York, but attends college in Los Angeles.  At Occidental College, he is majoring in Urban Environmental Policy and minoring in Education.  His career goals include Public Finance.  Last summer, he interned at a Wall Street firm that handles private equity deals for J. P. Morgan Chase and Company.  Last summer, he forewent an internship at Morgan Stanley to participate in the Institute for Responsible citizenship.  He is a Goldman Sachs Scholar.  David is the son of a minister and plans to purse ministry as well.

During his first summer at the Institute, David interned at Alfred Street Baptist Church.
