Hometown: Southfield, MI

Michael Varner is pursuing a degree in Political Science in the Howard University Honors Program.  This black belt founded a martial arts program, Kicks 4 Kids, where underprivileged children receive free training.  When not participating in the Air Force ROTC program or instructing youngsters in martial arts, Michael is getting ready to compete as part of the university’s mock trial team.  He intends to serve in the U.S. Air Force after graduation and pursue a career in state politics.
