Hometown: Chicago, IL Rodney Walker is an entrepreneur. He won 1st Place in the citywide business plan competition in Chicago for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and 2nd Place in the NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. As a result, he is featured in the film, Ten9Eight. He has interned at the Ropes & Gray law firm and at the Chicago Board of Education for current U. S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. He is a Philosophy major at Morehouse College, where he is a Deans List student and a Senator in the Student Government Association. He is a Kauffman Scholar, UNCF Scholar, and Office Depot Scholar. Rodney interned for the DC College Success Foundation during his first summer at the Institute. |
