Hometown: Suffolk, VA

Timothy Walker is pursuing a Political Science concentration in Public Administration at Fisk University.  Passionate about politics, he is sophomore class president at Fisk and interned in the Nashville office of U. S. Congressman Jim Cooper.  Last year, he was a Senator in the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature and interned for a Tennessee State Representative.  He has also worked in local, state, and national campaigns.  An excellent student, Timothy participates in the W. E. B. DuBois General Honors Program.  He graduated from high school in Suffolk, Virginia.

Timothy interned at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies during his first summer at the Institute.
