David Wilford, a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, majors in Social Work at La Salle University.  He is a youth minister at his local church, director of La Salle’s gospel choir, and plans to be a pastor and social worker in the future.  David received 1st runner-up for the National Association of Social Work BPD Fellowship program and was recently inducted into Phi Alpha, a national social work honor society.

In David's first summer with the Institute, he interned at the United States Department of Labor in the Office for Faith-based and Community Initiatives. During the summer of 2007, he interned at the NHP Foundation.  Upon graduation, he plans to complete a dual degree program to obtain a Masters of Law and Social Policy and Masters of Social Services.
