In 2009, the Institute for Responsible Citizens hip
will launch the Youth Scholar Academy. This program will leverage our
Washington program by having exceptional African American male college
students prepare outstanding high school students to enter college and
thrive. During the first summer, four college students who are interested in
youth leadership and education will participate in the Institute’s core
program and intern at youth serving organizations. In 2010, the Youth
Scholar Academy will begin in earnest when the scholars return to manage the
program for African American male high school students. |
